Fun and Laughter and Having a GREAT Day

Fantastic weekend.

I got to see an old friend and her beautiful family.

I was privileged to share my experience, strength and hope with a group of like minded and similarly afflicted people.

The Giants are up 3 games to 2 in the World Series.

The Niners had a bye week, so they got to rest.

The Mighty Modesto Patriots - under the tutelage of Ryan the Wonder Coach - won their big game against the West Side Forty Niners (who wear purple so they are NOT really Niners, get it?).

Best of all - I got to go to Mass and lead RCIA Dismissal.

We looked at the readings for Mass on Sunday as an expression of God's Love and the establishment of His Authority on earth through His Church.

We looked at the purpose for following God's Love - first because we must, later because we want to because it gives us a pretty good life and finally because doing so puts us into closer communion with Our Creator.

We looked at what it means to mature as a Christian and become Catholic - Out Loud.

It was a beautiful day....and I am so grateful.
