Grandpa Doug left this earthly life behind on November 2, 2009, the Feast of All Souls.
The niece is heartbroken as only an 8 year old who has lost her Grandpa can be - she called me sobbing.
The service for this good man will be on Saturday...which is the middle nephew's birthday. Darn it. They will be doing his party on Sunday.
Please keep us in prayer. This has been a tough two weeks. What with getting beat up by LOM again (what is wrong with that man?), saying good bye to Chase and having to let go of Grandpa Doug, I am ready to 'go to Denver'.
May his soul, and the souls of all the Faithful Departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
