I prayed today that when Kevin was taken off the ventilator that God would be merciful and let him gently leave this earth. We know, as Catholics, that Kevin is a valuable member of the Body of Christ, no matter what the circumstances of his life at the time, but there are moments when I just want a mother to be able to rest.

Thank you, Jesus. And may Our Lady meet Kevin at the gates of heaven and lead him to her Son.
