Today's Liturgy of the Hours includes a reading from Colossians 1:12 - 14. The reading reminds us to thank GOD for making our lives today possible, lives that can be linked forever to the Paschal Mystery. Linked through Baptism and Confirmation, reaffirmed every time we receive Our Lord in The Eucharist, we are a part of The Body of Christ. This is not because we are fabulous. This is a gift from God. We are reminded to thank the Father 'who has made it possible for us to share in the saints' inheritance of light."
With that in mind, I am taking a moment to say, "Thank you, God".
My life is a gift. My existence is a gift. My experiences are a gift.
Thank you for that gift.
